I can’t believe it has been over a week since the launch of Behind The Scenes.

A few years ago when I started the blog, I had no idea that it was preparing me for one of my most proudest achievements to date.

I remember writing posts and then hiding from the world because I was so afraid of what people would think about my transparency. It was not like I was writing about sandy beaches and romantic getaways. I was speaking about heartbreak and real life challenges.

None the less, I kept at it and through writing the ‘Real Talk With Sarah Alonge’ blogs, I was able to perfect a craft I didn’t even know I would need – writing. In addition to this it allowed me to position myself to trust God enough to use my testimony.

Writing this book has reminded me that the chapters of our life make up a part of our story.

No two chapters are the same and naturally some chapters will be better than the others. But every chapter is essential.

I am thankful for this chapter in my life and the privilege I have in sharing it with you.

As I embark on this chapter, I want to encourage each and everyone of you to never disregard a chapter in your life. God turned what was meant to be the worst chapter in my life into a testimony that has not just helped me but others. There is nothing you will go through that God can’t use. The enemy desires to steal our confession and discourage us to lose hope. But without our hope, we are nothing.

Never lose sight of the end, continue to be built in the process and remain steadfast. You have got this.
