My 2 weeks edges routine

I shared a picture on my Instagram feed that had my DM’s and my comments going off!

It was this

That’s right! Picture on the left was my edges 2 weeks before picture on the right!

I still have a way to go, but I am convinced that this routine works!

After all, the proof is in the pudding

What you’ll need

1. Avocado oil

Avocado oil is high is oleic acids and mono saturated fats. It’s once of the few oils that can penetrate the hair shaft and moisturise your hair. This is important as moisture is what caused hair to grow and also it helps to prevent breakage. I put 2 capfuls of this into a bowl.

2. Jamaican black castor oil

Jamaican black castor oil helps to strengthen, thicken and increase hair growth.

This is a heavy oil and I would not typically use it by it self. You can mix it would any oil and apply it to your hair. For my edges process, I add a capful to the avocado oil.

3. Teatree oil

Tea tree oil can improve the condition of your hair follicles which in turn promotes healthy hair growth. When you apply the teatree oil onto your scalp, it stimulates and increases blood to the area. Circulation of blood to the hair follicles causes new and healthy hair to grow in areas of damage. I add 8 drops to my oil mix
