Issa – Anniversary

And it’s official! We’re one years old!

I still can’t believe it! Just like that I’ve been a blogger for 12 months!

If someone told me 17 months ago that I would one day share my story on a platform like this, I would have told them to do one!

Today we celebrate one year since Real Talk With Sarah Alonge was launched!

One year since I decided to expose my flaws and share my scars. While I am surprised by the courage that I didn’t know I had, I am thankful to God for placing me in a position that has helped me to heal, be a blessing to others and walk in one of the many paths He laid out for me.

Honestly I could not have done this without the support! Thank you to everyone who believed in me enough to encourage me and for this who don’t even know me personally yet take time out of their day to read a post from little ol’ me! Although this journey has not been easy, it has certainly been worth it!

I want to encourage you all today to do something that you are afraid of. I didn’t start this blog because it was a fun thing to do. In actual fact it was one of the scariest things I’ve ever decided to do. But in sharing my vulnerability, I’ve been able to face my fears which has in turn saved me from so much pain and hurt! But most importantly is has allowed me to look onto God as my ultimate support.

So on that note what is a celebration without gifts!

To celebrate 1 year, I will be doing giveaways through out the month of September! Everything from days out in the city to books! The first give away will be announced on my social media! So follow us on Instagram @sarahalonge_ @realtalkwithsarahalonge for your chance of winning, and stay tuned

Have a great Friday guys
